she is the queen of the underworld. She is also known as the goddess of Spring (her mother was the a goddess related to agriculture and good harvest).
Hades kidnapped her to the underworld...By the time other gods/goddesses (mostly her mom) arrived to save her, Persephone had already eaten food from the underworld (i think it was 9 pomegranate seeds)- due to this, she has to spend 9 months of the year in the underworld (3 months of Spring on Earth).

@Sleepycat chill bro chill I don't know most about Olympians g** I can least guess the g** name or something by hearing about them from other manga I am Indian you see in my country most people don't know name of this g**,goddesses even exist in first place
