As he's looking into the river, ML crashes his car on the guardrails of the bridge because he was driving so fast so he could prevent MC from committing suicide. MC explains that he just wanted to say goodbye to his past. They then both go to the hospital. ML only has a hurt ankle.
Later, they both go back to the bridge. MC explains that the current guardrail was installed due to his family's death (the old one had a loose sc*** and wasn't as secure). MC says his brother was the one who pushed him out of the car as it drowned, saving him instead of himself. MC notes that, if it weren't for his family's death and the new guardrail being put up, both ML and his brother would have died since the guardrail wouldn't have stopped them.
The main story ends with MC saying he was glad he had the opportunity to meet the ML and to have the opportunity to fall in love. They do have a kid in the extras tho!
