The mc is released from the hospital and goes to ML's house. He lives there for a few days. One day, ML tells MC he'll be home late from work. That same day, MC gets a call from Ho-in (the omega baker). They talk for a bit. Ho-in says he's changed. MC calls ML and says he thinks he (MC) is in love with ML. He then says goodbye ML, thanks him for everything, says he loves him, and hangs up.
MC puts their marriage certificate in the centre of the table so ML can see it then leaves with Kongkongi (their miscarried baby)'s shoes and goes to the bridge where he was gonna kill himself in the first chapter.
MC stands on the edge of the bridge and takes his shoes off. He says goodbye to his family members before dropping his shoes into the river. After a moment, he drops his dead baby's shoes into the river.
