@cutiee_xx Jo's love was never "healing, selfless, gentle". Even the author wrote that it was obsession when he sexually assaulted an unconscious Ian. But! I also disagree with the take that any character is unnecessary in this story. Without Jo as a catalyst, Ian and TJ never would have broken free from that vicious cycle and ended up together
@12345 You're right, but I stand on "healing and selfless" but I would replace "gentle" with "clear or clearier" it just did not fit. As I was comparing JO's and TJ's kinda love. Also showing obsessive trait ain't the same as being downright obsessive, Jo was definitely getting there but in the end even if he wanted to cling to Ian and beg him to stay he did not but rather pushed him not to look back.
