@olympe Yeah it’s not love at all. He doesn’t even know him! It’s a built up delusion, a version of Nanjo on this pedestal that he created in his warped mind. But I’m sorry, I don’t care anymore how fucked up his childhood was or how desperately he wants love now. This is too much for me, like this “my suicide is on you” s*t breaks people, it ruins them. That he had these intentions… nope. Can’t do it. Nanjo should never want to go near him ever again. This can’t be love, I can’t even imagine how it possibly could be in the future. You’re right, there is no excuse but yet some readers can’t see the issues with what’s being portrayed this season. I have to disagree, I feel like Danrim has lost her way with this and she’ll end up putting them together where Nanjo does so out of pity and carries this burden, and their relationship will be toxic off this new foundation of it never being truly earned through healing, growth, genuine feelings or without any of their complexes or dependencies. I hope I’m wrong. Truly! But I’ve had enough for now. We’re nearly a third of the way through this season and nothing has progressed at all. I never expected it to become this dark. It never needed to be. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
