People in the comments defending Matthew sicken me.
He was drugged, but he could clearly tell it was Jin in front of him, knew that Jin didn't want to do it and kept going anyway.
If you think the drug is an excuse, maybe we should go to every prison and release every abuser that was under the influence, cause it wasn't their fault, they were drugged. Do you realise how insane what you say is? There is no doubt this is ra**, Jin's reaction was just accept what happened to him cause Matthew is the abuser, and try to convince himself that he enjoyed it. It's sad people still can't tell the difference between ra** from s**.
@Maddie no matter what you say mathew didn't know it was the REAL jin infront of him if you read it properly he said he thought it was a dream it's not an excuse and there is no denying that he was in the wrong but he only realized at the end when jin said he remembered everything and don't relate this to real life cuz tht was mathew's first time one hard drugs even before tht he was not in the right state of mind and on top of tht the old man put fake things in his head so don't come for mathew like tht cuz if he was in his right state of mind he would NEVER do tht to jin he really and truely LOVES him
@Maddie you're right BUT they are 2 red flags and are imaginary. So people can say whatever they want and support imaginary people because this isnt a real situation.
@Layla02 that is not what love looks like. What Matthew has is a huge obsession, he wants to posess Jin, wants to make him his, he showed his dark side before. Matthew wants to make Jin into a perfect figure, cause the real one is full of flaws, and here he cannot accept Jin's past. He just let his inner (intrusive) thoughts take control, this is not only the drug, is mostly Matthew's desires. Of course he will regret it, but that doesn't take the abuse back. And I hope Matthew stays away from Jin for a while, they need some time apart.
