@KittyCat @Lord Seungho you traitors!! I'm yeah he's a work of art even he's single movement make you scream him name just look at him before he called Liet's full name and when he was telling him to not cause a scandal in his turf the whole seen was a full movie realistic speaking I wouldn't mind being a mistress to hot man like that BUT we have to side with Layla!!

@luna haha! I'm with Layla for sure but with situation what the duke actions is within the progression of his feelings, he's still in the process of realizing his feelings and importance of Layla. He's still bound to norms of his status as a duke and what's expected of him. He is engage to someone else and it was decided by the family. He wasn't at the state yet of choosing Layla over everything else but he is getting there. And as per the situation seemed like he is indifferent of what happened to Layla and Liet, maybe he was cautious over how he will treat Layla because he knows that what happened was the doing of her fiancé and Liet and if he showed that he is concerned of Layla it would cemented the assumptions of them tha he has feelings for Layla and the bullying would've worsened. It sort of he's protecting Layla but in our perspective that's been poorly done. We expected him to side with Layla but within bounds of his character as the duke and engage with someone else his reaction is sufficient for me as he is portrayed as calm, collected and controlled. He is not the reactive one, he works behind the scenes cunningly just like how he exposed the mother of Layla's ex-boyfriend.
