@★al★ You really shouldn't. Lina has taken the selfish and greedy path at every turn. Literally every one of her choices was made with no regard for anyone but herself. Even now, Seria is offering to let her live if she only gives up the person who has been lying and manipulating her this whole time, yet she chooses to reject that offer out of pure greed. Her naivety was just annoying in the beginning, but she's evolved into a full on villain atp. She could have easily taken that offer and lived a peaceful, albeit unremarkable life going forward, yet she chooses to side with Leigel and plans to kill Seria for nothing but her inability to give up her stolen status and power. She's incessantly greedy and acts like a perpetual victim despite being the cause of most of her own misfortune. There's really nothing likeable about her. Maybe it wasn't portrayed as explicitlyin the manhwa but she's really insufferable in the novel.
@Hyperion it seems like she thinks if she's not the saint or a sterne then she'll have no purpose and be disposed of. So I think it's more her fear of dying. And it looks like she has her memories and is remembering all the other copies that were tossed like trash.
@Angelswrath It was made clear both in the novel, and the manhwa, that Seria was offering to save her from Leigel and preserve her life. This was an offer Seria had already demonstrated she would be able to uphold, as both Seria and Lina witnessed Tuban besting Leigel despite not yet having his full powers released. Leigel was said to be a small and relatively weak star by comparison to the others in the novel, and it shows. She makes it clear she believes Seria can keep her promise should she accept her offer, and then asks what will become of her stolen things (i.e. her status and power that comes with her false titles of Saint and Sterne), and only when Seria confirms her suspicions that she will be stripped of these things should she accept the offer, does she reject it. Because she's a greedy and selfish person who would rather sacrifice everyone and everything around her to achieve her own ends than live an unremarkable or humble life. She had a tragic beginning to be sure, but so did Seria. That doesn't excuse what she has done, and especially not what she intends to do, and will do going forward. She's one of the most unlikeable, and unrelatable villains in all of fiction. Without being a totally petulant, greedy, narcissistic child, I really can't understand how you'd be capable of rationalizing the way she reacts and acts lol
