I fail to understand your point. All I get is a "what the author does is bad if I don't like it" vibe. I'm not sure why Harlock says "it didn't make much sense" instead of just "I don't like it". "I don't like it" is a very strong argument to be irritated about it and express it. "It doesn't make sense" is complete BS.
@Myself yeah, I didn't mind it's author's choice to come up with his own ideas of summoning golems. I just found it extremely cumbersome, having to go farm each piece, then put it together, then finally summon it. Definitely not a type of magic you can use in an emergency.
