@Someone just someone it's such a shame, young people feeling pressured like that. Don't let the written word of some men from a long time ago dictate you. As far as I know, the only words in the bible that came from g** directly are the 10 commandments. The rest is partly made up bs to control people. See the catholic church in the medieval ages, they controlled everyone and earned money off of the poor. You don't need to listen to the bogus they and the others made up. If you have faith in g** he will lead your way and you will realize his will. I hope you have a great day too🫶

@Luna Moon I am so sorry that you have to hide like that. No one should have to live in fear just because of who they are. Personally, I don't believe that anything in the bible (aside from the ten commandments) should be taken literally since it wasn't written by g** himself. People, especially men, have tried to control people via religion since forever. You are not a sinner. Don't let anyone tell you that. People will have opinions, but you mustn't care about them. You need to hide xour identity if revealing it threatens your live, but you are not a sinner and you shouldn'thave to do that. At fault are the people that take everything in the bible literally and feel the need to meddle in other people's business. G** loves all his creations, and if he didn't want people to be part of LGBTQ, why did he give them free will? Why did he implant so many people with a brain that is different from hetero cis people if they are the only ones he wants? G** forgives all sinners, the real sinners, the ones that steal and kill. Why would he hate people for loving differently expressing themselves?  I don't get people that have something against your community, like, it's none of their business and using religion to justify hate is disgusting. Love your neighbours, one of the commandments🫶

@Luna Moon girl, don't apologize for sharing! Everybody needs to talk to someone about their problems, and clearly you can't talk to your parents about this right now (which is entirely their fault btw and it isn't supposed to be like that). You not being able to talk to and trust the adults around you isn't a healthy environment and I'm so sorry for you for not being able to confide in people around you. You having to break up with your gf and being monitored like that isn't ok at all. Yes, parents are supposed to periodically check their childrens phones to ensure their safety(dunno if you're at an age where that'd apply), emphasis on safety btw, but monitoring who they talk to exceeds that. It is nice tho that your school tries to check on students via those surveys. Not telling the parents is a must tho. Imagine a child getting physically abused at home by their drunk parent and the school just calling home and telling said parent that their child "snitched" on them. I don't even want to imagine what might happen to them. I hope they talk to you kids alone before talking to the parents. Did ypu insicate in the survey that you do self harm or plan on foing something like it? If not, I'd lay low and wait in case they don't contact your parents at all. If yes, I advise that you be faster and talk to your counsellor before they have a chsnce to talk to your parents. Explain that you do not want them to be contacted as they might not take it well. Stay strong🫶 One day, once you're indrpendent, this will all be over and you don't have to hide like this anymore

@Luna Moon I hope you're doing better and don't do self harm anymore. I used to have a friend who did self harm regularly and he was in a really bad place back then. And damm, you really got big plans for the future! Do you speak korean already? If not, you'll have to learn an entire language... good luck, that's really impressive. Irecommend Duolingo😂. And being a pediatric cardiothoracic surgeon is a nice career goal. It pays pretty well as far as I know, bit I think that goes for all jobs in the medical field. That's gonna be a shitton of work tho, I speak from experience. I'm kinda part-timing university alongside school rn, I got basic anatomy. Muscles and stuff yk. It's really a lot. But if you have a passion for it it's doable. But it's going to take a long time to get there, having to study general medicine for 6 years I think...? Until you can specialize. And wow, your dayily life seems to be packed. Respect. Managing such a long way to and from school with extracurriculars AND your siblings on top. Glad you're on holiday rn and able to take a breather (hopefully). And meeting the family ofc. Haven't been to Nandos, I don't even think we have that in Germany. It's really nice talking to you aswell! Usually ppl on here aren't too fond of talking. Btw, what's a DofE?

@NoOne438179 i don't harm myself as much anymore. my friemd recommended that i put my feelings into at instead and it helps.I'm learning korean from duolingo. i can order this from a cafe and ask what job people have. i can talk about age, birthdays and gifts but talking about how close things are it a bit difficult. i also need to work on pronounciation.i've started looking for free online courses and stuff on that topic.University already?!?! Maybe they do things differently in germany but my cousin's the same age and she's in sixthform (don't know if you have that there?) My life is nnow less packed but i.m doing a-level work from my tutor and i'm in Year9 it hurts my brain but i'm starting to understand it ig? DofE stand 4 Duke of Edinburgh's Award. It's like an event of sorts? You have to do something phisical,, some volunteering and some skill. You have to do them each for three months and then pick one to do again for the last 3 months. Youo will also do an expidition in the woods were you hike and there's only one break spot in the middle where you'll stop 4 the night. I'm really excited as then i can cook for other people(you have to bring healthy stuff to cook) and i and my friends who love cooking -these are people outside my usual friend group btw- re plannig on bringing lots of a particuliar ingridient so everyone will have light bags( i'm not sure if ther's a limit on how heavy your bag should be but you have to carry your sllepping bag, foor, clothes etc in that one bag and walk with it for miles so you don't want it to be heavy) and then we'll make fried rice or ice and stew (it's a nigerian dish) and it's wonderful!!! u should try it someday. i heard that you  only get given onle pan to cook in so i'm planing to bring a pot or two (if my mom lets me)
