The personality switch is insane, this is no even the same dude, I get that you have some trust issues, but c'mon, you were an overall asswip thru the whole comic, Are you meant to tell me that a wolf attack and a butnaked sea dive made trick? Now you are a full lovey-dovey babyboy?

@Nymala  loll it was the hair color change for him, he felt like a new person
@Nymala he is not bad person, he is just traumatized asf. so when josh showed him that not everyone will do stuff to him without consent he started trusting him and cracking his true self from hard shell.
@Curbz lmao he is in his jet black era, ngl it suite him so much.
@Arietty that's a good point, still his trauma was suppose to be tight to omegas, so why did he made a public enemy of every employee that was a beta or alpha? That's what doesn't clicks with me, but I totally get what you are saying, this might be the first intimate relationship of his that stopped at a NO and didn't force it, so this looks promising, the revelation gonna hit like a truck if he is been so vulnerable, I'm scared.
@Nymala

Because, being rich, famous, and a dominant Alpha, everyone crowds around him because they want something from him (whether they are Omegas, Betas, or Alphas). Josh, on the other hand, has always acted professionally, risking his life for him and respecting his personal boundaries, without forcing his own desires onto Chase. (e.g., 'Mr. Miller, can I help you?' 'Mr. Miller, may I continue?').

So yes, for the first time, he's in a situation where he feels he has the same 'power' as the person he's interacting with, and I believe that has moved him in some way. Chase senses that Josh views him as an equal, and not as someone on whom to force his will. According to Chase, Josh could have demanded anything from him after saving his life, because up until that point, every person he had met had always wanted something from him. But Josh treated him like a human being, not an object or a property, by respecting his 'NO'.

@Ella okay, I like that point of view, I might have overlooked his workfield and how that has play a role in his personality, (kind of still not in support of the staff and employees mistreatment), but I get that there it might be a bigger picture.

And I just wanted to clarify that I never meant that he was a bad person for his mood flings, he's clearly a victim of not only his family but this world building.
@Nymala Yes, I see what you mean. I don't fully excuse Chase's behaviour; as you said, his treatment of the staff is definitely too much. However, I think Chase believes that 'everyone is an ass**** until proven otherwise.' I repeat, I don't justify this behaviour, but that's the nature of the character as I understood the author described him. Despite his ups and downs, I really like how the author portrayed him, but I had to reread the novel multiple times to fully appreciate it. And, yes, like you, I also think he's a victim. The kind of environment he grew up in massively influenced his personality: being a dominant alpha, thrown into the spotlight as an actor since childhood... All of that put him in a position to be objectified, without, among other things, having real help from his family to prevent him from being traumatized by it all.
Anyway, I never thought you considered him a bad person; it's just that I'm particularly protective of my blorbos 😁
@Ella yes the way the author build everything is really interesting, I'm so exited to get to the main conflict with the baby and all that, to see how he will manage it, and hoping he has bright days ahead.

Oh and I just checked it was another user who address him not being a bad person, so I just wanted to clarify lol, I can see he is a really soft and vulnerable guy.
