And I can also say the same for you, mildred. Cuz let me remind you that you initiated it. You purposely took that glass, shattered it and pointed it to the jerk. YOU were the one making threats.
The way she's making it look like HE'S the BAD GUY.

SO MANY NOTIFICATIONS!!!!
I said what I said.

@Chamcham but... he IS the bad guy tho ☠️☠️ imagine someone the age of your dad trying to have you as his wife 😟
@houss   not every narcissistic pervert is a "bad" guy. A bas**** he may be but I don't think his cowardly a** can even think of actually doing something so severe to categorise him as a bad guy. Mildred on the other hand went straight to violence and threats. And considering how she's in a daze I think she would have actually done it if it weren't for that walford guy.
@Chamcham the fact he wants to make a 17 years old his lover and a 19 years old his wife also considering he has kids as old as the girls he's trying to court........ this is predatory behavior which MAKES him a bad guy idk what tf you on but 😭😭
@houss   that's cuz im this case I categorized the "bad" guy as the evil villain "I torture people as a hobby and murder people as entertainment don't cross me" type or something around those lines... And he's the bas**** who wants another wife. And do remember that in this kind of era/setting marrying a woman years younger and taking in multiple mistresses is the norm especially to noblemen who uses money to buy falling/fallen nobles as an excuse to "save" them so they can brag about it or as a status symbol. But pretty sure violence, torture and murder isn't.
That's why I consider him a narcissistic perverse bas**** rather than the actual "bad" guy.
You can not agree with me as I have my own standards and opinions about a fictional story but don't talk as if I'm out of my mind and taking something (even if that's just a metaphor) that's not nice.
@Chamcham sure, back then men went for women half their age, but that doesn't make it moral or okay. But if we are excusing it for the sake of your argument, he is still a bad guy. He went and threatened them because he was offended they rejected him, which they have the right to do. When the mother rejected him on behalf of the daughter and stated that he was too old for her (which he is, this isnt an insult) he insulted them saying the daughter isnt that great either (and we can all appreciate how amazing the eldest daughter rly is).
Do you not see how its absolutely sick that he is talking about taking one sister as a wife and the other as a mistress. THEY ARE SISTERS. ITS DISGUSTING.
And just because something is legal doesn't include physical violence doesn't mean its okay to do. This man doesn't have to physically harm them to be a bad guy.

Now for the mildred, she never initiated anything and she never actually showed true intent behind wanting to kill him. She threatened him, just like he threatened her and her daughters. Mr walford didn't stop her from committing murder, he stopped her from making a scene.

if you are going to argue that milared would've killed that man if mr walford didn't stop her. Then i can argue that that man would've taken both sisters against their will. They did infact say that they are willing to with him but thats only because he threatened them. So in the end they are not actually consenting.

you honestly should reevaluate your morals and beliefs
