As a person who has been single for life, I just wanted to know, how do people start dating? Like when you confess do you say "So we're dating now" or do you say "Date me" and just say yes and go on?? Like-?????

Me, I wasn't the one that confessed my bf did but when he did confessed he said "uhm...I have feelings for you" I kinda forgot- (I'm a guy)
generally when u confess you excplain if u actually want to date or not like u have to work out the details yk??? like you could say "i really like you but im not ready to date anyone rn" or "i really like you and id really like to date you" and then ask if there okay wt what u want aswellππ
My confession wasn't ry a conf bc me and my bsf were always flirty and sh** and pretending to date and one day I was just like "ok ehy not just fr start dating" and she was like "yeah cool" and that's it π
idk my experience was weird so my gf we were like flirting like i flirt with everyone but this was like a "I'll get on my knees for u mommy ;) " flirting. I was like i love you very much and she was like me too. I thought she was joking and i was like " im serious tho, i would like to kiss those lips of yours" and she kissed me for like a while and i was shocked and she was said "see you later sweetie." and that's how we started dating so i think it depends
