@omori Really? I bought the ebooks off Google. All 6 so far. Now I'm curious how this story goes in the novel. I started with the donghua. And while waiting for season 2, I'm here with the manhua.
@Pea I'm obsessed. I bought all 8 official translated books. I'm Midway of volume 3 right after the flashback arcs and omg... I cried so hard.
I also am watching the donghua, and I love comparing each version. They each have unique beautiful details. Like in the manhua, you see Xielian blushing so hard when he falls on top of Huacheng and HC hands on his hips... Hehe. It's so cute. But in the novel it doesn't have those small blushing details a lot. Hahaha
But @aether, I've been reading a long and it seems like the Manhua is PRETTY accurate honestly. It's not really missing anything. Maybe a dialogue or two from a couple of scenes but I think they're doing fantastic to describe everything. Just small details are different like in the manhua chapter 94. The Scene is different from the novel. And the details are surprisingly different. If anyone wants to know, ask and I'll spoil it.
@Pea well i mean the manhua IS very accurate, its just that they often miss small details which to me r very important. & i think its mainly because its wayyy harder to add them in a manhua than it is in a novel. i remember xl at some point saying something and afterwards its written "hc's eye lit up" like HELLO? hes supposed to be a scary supreme but he is so jwhkdbehvhkev cute around xl. but if they added a panel where hc's eye lit up youd just scroll past it & not think much of it. honestly its hard for me to explain why i prefer the novel (even though the art in the manhua is crazily good) but everything is just explained wayyyy more detailed in it, thats all u gotta know👍 hope you enjoy them!
