Some people are saying mc is now looking down on people, I really don't understand what you guys mean. The story telling is saying that mc is being looked down UPON by others because no matter how hard he tried, he couldn't secure a proper role that would get him attention as an actor.

@Clockstick But he didn't even try, or at least not completely. It's like saying "when I'm poor, the rich despise me, now that I'm rich, I despise the poor too"... the others are arrogant, but at least they tried harder than MC or have talent. MC has nothing, he has no talent, and he doesn't even try all the way... like a kid who wants to draw like his favorite artist (that artist took 20 years of study, failures, etc.) but doesn't want to give his best and is jealous of the artist. "Knowing" that the system wasn't even created by him... he gained power knowing it wasn't his merit, but he has such a huge ego that he thinks he's the best, as if it were thanks to his own efforts.
@MaruXHanuel I agree, I mean, for goodness sake, I love arrogant characters because they know they're better and by continuing to win they become arrogant. But here the protagonist acts arrogant only after receiving a power "without really trying hard," and that's what makes me angry.
@Kibo

I just started reading "I Was Mistaken As a Monstrous Genius Actor" and all I can say that this manhwa is the bootleg version of Monstrous Genius Actor.

@Clockstick to be honest I don't know how they came to the conclusion that the MC is arrogant with just few scenes. Other actorswere shown to look down on him, but he just ignored. So how is he arrogant?
