It's like saying "when I'm poor, the rich despise me, now that I'm rich, I despise the poor too"... the others are arrogant, but at least they tried harder than MC or have talent. MC has nothing, he has no talent, and he doesn't even try all the way... like a kid who wants to draw like his favorite artist (that artist took 20 years of study, failures, etc.) but doesn't want to give his best and is jealous of the artist. "Knowing" that the system wasn't even created by him... he gained power knowing it wasn't his merit, but he has such a huge ego that he thinks he's the best, as if it were thanks to his own efforts.
