It might sound strange, but shouldn't a couple being comfortable with each other in public and feeling secure enough to tell the people around them about their relationship be a key part of the main story? Perhaps I'm just complaining unnecessarily, but it feels like their sexual relationship is prioritized over their romantic one. Additionally, even though they seem to live in a modern world, the characters often act as if their relationship is taboo or a mystery they need to figure out
My top recommendation:-
Her shim-cheong
Nan hao and shang feng
The art of taming a tiger
Summer snow
Cherry magic
The green one

@Hello I think that's the case cause in Korea a homosexual relationship is being shamed by society and treated as a taboo. I guess the main characters are afraid of telling people about their sexual and their relationship as the don't wanna be rejected or looked down by their friend or acquaintanc. Overall the Korean culture is not as open-minded as it is something described in kdramas or other Korean shows and manhwas. according to my research, Homophobia and racism is still a big problem. In conclusion, I guess that are the reasons why they don't act like a couple in public or tell their friends about their relationship. Hope it helps to understand their situation a little :)
@-cutie- Well, I do agree with what you are saying, and it seems important. That is why I am a bit confused why something like this wasn't a part of the main story. Showing the struggles of a gay relationship should be a very important plot point of the story, but these were overshadowed, and, uhm, extreme s** scenes were chosen over this.
@Hello I am so sorry i wanted to like your comment 😭😭 i tapped on the angry one😭
@Hello well in korea there are lot of people that think that it doesn't even exist in korea but gayness it's only for the foreign.
It's not always homophobia but even just that they literally don't know, they are not exposed to it at all.
Even some gay people in korea are kinda homophobic in our eyes since they are completely in the closet and sometimes they even get married.
Bcs for exeple if you are gay and go to army saying it they will put you in the "gay part" and register you
@Hello they probably just wanted to give a more easy vibe.
Even the misunderstanding part was relly easy so it's probably just the way of this story
@Loony_moony yeh most probably so still a bit sad
