@Tyrus yeah, I outright refuse to read murim bull and run in the opposite direction of manhua, though a few still end up luring me in because they are so similar to manwha. 🤣 The entire inner and outer energy, breathing techniques, body disorders that are actually beneficial for martial artists because... energy! Take this pill, that pill, and this other extract and you will become 150x stronger as long as you can meditate! 🤣 it's all about how you breath, that's how you get stronger, just breath! 🤣 yep, it all just gotta come from the gut, ya know? 😂 breathing like that is just SOOOO deep. Eating them energy plant ba*** are just SOOO deep. Meditation... hashtag deep... 😂
Anyways! Yeah, just about every manwha/manhua, for the first 24 chapters, is just the author tossing cr** at a wall and seeing what sticks. This means that any philosophical bull will eventually mean nothing anyways -_- Them usually being based off LNs, which are written the same way, is a big reason why. You have a good idea, you just start writing cr** out and seeing where it goes. You then take your favorite parts and end up going in a completely random direction and that's what your story becomes... so all the pseudo-philosophical bullshit you spewed at the beginning quickly just becomes a gate keep to keep people from actually getting to the good part of the story
thus why I prefer a trickle in... you only have 2 or 3 items to adjust instead of a massive world building element that half your audience just dropped your product because of.
