Comment on ChapterThere Were Times When I Wished You Were Dead - Chapter 84
People who are happy seeing him suffer, please take your medicines your sicko mind is showing. He has gone through endless pain as well with no one literally no one at his side. No one who could tell him that they would bear the pain with him. All he did was for that little girl who helped him once. You all are just sadists that's it. And how could he have trusted her? For him, she was the precious daughter of the Duke who killed his family and attempted to kill him. The same Duke who he once used to call grandfather. He trusted him completely and he betrayed that trust. Ofc karloi would think that his daughter was also strategically placed in the palace. She never even denied the fact that she was to sleep with him and produce a heir. How could he trust her? Om what basis? Because she asked him to? Do you all know an inch if diplomacy? Both are ofc the victims here.

@Sun hurt people will hurt people. His pain and trauma does not give him the excuse to inflict pain and trauma on others. Find any monster in this world, and something made them that way....that doesn't mean they deserve our sympathy or that they don't deserve suffering as a result of their own actions.
@Heather Marie   agree, eventho he went through so much pain, its fair right if he didn't then it's unfair after what he did and say to his lover, just because she is his enemy's daughter he decided to mistreat her? His actions are unacceptable, what if the Duke's daughter is not Rue but someone else he won't even care about her life
@Heather Marie the pain and trauma isn't giving him the excuse to inflict it on somebody random, he did that on his enemy's daughter. Which I would say is a fair deal in most of the action series. How could he have known that the daughter of his enemy won't be on her father's side when it is the most probable outcome? And she was on her side, even if it was against her will but she came in the palace with ulterior motives only right? I'm not belittlinh the pain that rue went through, I'm just trying to not belittle the pain that Karloi went through as well
@Alisa0918 in how many cases have you seen where one says that someone is their relative and they turn out not to be? That's such an unlikely outcome, no one can expect that? And in my eyes, I don't think it's a crime to inflict some pain on the child of your enemy when they Annhiliated your whole family. Who's playing by morals now? Fools. Why would you want to be fair and sh*t? For what reason?
@Sun I'm feeling unfair cuz her mother, the reason she lived in this world and the most important person in the world died cuz she picked him, and when they were little he survived cuz of her, without her he would be dead when he was just a little boy, ik he is going through so much but how could she forgive him that easily and make a family like nothing happened, that's follish talk if you ask me none of you can change my mind on this no matter what you say
@Sun and you can't say he don't have anyone, he have that soilder of his and very caring people around him but her, she only had her mom and she even died
@Sun  I've been defending him ever since (I hated him at the beginning but when we got to know the truth I immediately understood the whole thing) I read the replies to your comment and they still don't get it. He is a king who has enemies all around him and rue is supposedly his number one enemies daughter why would he trust her?! In what right mind would someone trust the daughter of their enemy? Even if she was innocent all he knew was that she was loved by the duke and she didn't show signs of abuse so how would he know? Yes she cried a couple of times in front of him but how would he know what's going on if she has a curse on her? He tried trusting her but then he got betrayed with lies and ofcourse he would blame her. Yes he does has some faults but you got to understand that he doesn't know the sh** she was going through and that she's rue. Gosh THEY ARE BOTH VICTIMS. Both hopeless lovers who couldn't see the trut
@Mafiye yes that's what I'm talking about. Exactly that. He was blmaed by everyone for his parent's death when he didn't do s*it about it. He was a child. And it's not like I didn't hate him at the beginning. I did. But as the story uncovered I got to know that he's just as much a victim of the Duke as is Rue. You can't just glorify and sympathaize with one victim and ostracize the other.
@Alisa0918 I never said to make a happy family with him and live as if Ntg happened and can't recall ever saying that. I'm just defending him in account of all those who are hating him and want him to suffer because that's just straight up nonsense and evil.
