@GGs TJ had opportunities way before YW had that passion about bikes, whether it was having a decent life with his foster parents back when he met YW for the first time at 15. Or, becoming a pro MMA fighter to which he'd missed the opportunity cuz he chose saving YW instead at 18. Growing up, TJ was the one out of the two with so many potentials. Just like YW, he had traumatic past, TJ losing his entire family in a car accident. But he never allowed himself to go down the same path as YW( doing drugs) on the contrary, he was the one constantly pulling YW with all his might away from that path because he loves him. And he didn't wanna lose him, too. Of course, that lasted as long as DK entered the picture and had YW wrapped around his finger for drugs. Actually, the moment that TJ made the decision to– sacrifice his entire future & abandon the path he'd taken to become a pro athlete and join the gang to protect his beloved– that exact moment he'd made up his mind was shown, it was when he saw YW's naked, unconscious body on DK's bathroom floor. If u look at his eyes, you'd see it, he'd throw it all away if it means he'd become powerful enough to stand between the world and the love of his life. So, if u really think about it, TJ could've just turned his back on YW just like the rest, he'd have had a good clean life had he just walked away & left him to his abuser. & YW knows it very well. As for YW...well, he'd probably end up OD'ing on DK's bathroom floor after being🍇ed again & again for drugs. So really, without TJ's sacrifices– WITHOUT TJ..there would be no YW & therefore, there would be no Wet Sand.
