@Jem The parents of these kids are to blame, I understand you can't give someone a mind, but not disciplining your children have a lot role in how they grow and act. The kids here tend to act WAY older than their actual ages and do things they shouldn't be doing at that young age.

I just don't understand why the police haven't arrested them yet. At one point the Prime minister (basically the president) even tried to PROTECT the kids doing the crimes as parents of victims said they would kill them.

I would complete school there but Barbuda doesn't really have schools. Over here there are 2 top schools for the smartest in the country. One for boys and one for Girls. I go to the girls school and because of that I have a way higher chance of getting into a better art school (or so I've been told)

I didn't even know who he was at first lol😭 but there were a whole lot of security personnel and then we were finally told who he was. There were even shirts with his face on it

@M.Monroe Those kids are acting like they own the island 🙄 But they're kind of right since they have so much freedom and there's a severe lack of consequences for their actions. If the police and the PM are being lax and even protecting them in some cases, then it's like they almost want Antigua to go to pot. I guess as long as they're making a fortune on tourism, the residents could go to he** for all they care 😑
Since you attend a girls' school, you are even more at risk from those young thugs, so be careful 😟 Also, why are girls more likely to be accepted at better art schools, as you've been told? It's strange that girls would be favoured like that.
Shirts with his face on them? He probably loved seeing that. Most celebs and royals are full of themselves lol. I would never wear a shirt like that because I have very little interest in celebrities, including royals. But still, he came to visit your island, so it was nice that you had the chance to meet him and honour that visit with a gift 🙂

@M.Monroe I should add that I love celebrities when it comes to fiction! Like Jaekyung and Heesung 😻 And one of my all-time favourite book series involves a king and a prince 💕 I also really like other books that had famous characters (e.g. hockey player, soccer player, model, etc.). So yeah, as long as it's fiction, then the celeb lifestyle is appealing to me.
