@Jake another line of thinking that would justify attacking the royal family is this. Becoming a witch is arbitrary. It spontaneously happens, so why have there been no witches to this point. Is there an organization that is hiding them or assassinating them? If it is the second that would justify her attacks against the royal family and the nobility.
