@Akii 2.0 for anyone asking:
Spoiler!
They changed it in a way that Kilian is now more aware of the voice than he was in the novel. Also lize tried to kiss him and basically asked if he would love her if she wasn't with cliff. But kilian rejects her pretty strongly. In the novel it was the point where his loyalty to Edith was first shown in its true glory. He was presented with the choice of telling lize he would always love her like the 2. Male lead he was supposed to be but instead chose his wife and therefore completely freed himself from the original character he was supposed to be. It was a pretty important scene and they brought it over with a little too fast for my liking.

@gingerbreadgirl Ty for sharing! Also can't believe this scene was rushed forward like this
@gingerbreadgirl Thanks for the explanation. How odd that they changed things, especially such n important part...maybe they plan to do something like that later on
@gingerbreadgirl Agreed, I too have read the novel and was waiting for this scene as it's an important part to the story where the original plot completely changes after Killian rejects Lize and frees himself from the influence. Well, highly disappointed that it was shown in this way!
@gingerbreadgirl thanks so much for sharing really appreciate it 🫂🤍
@gingerbreadgirl Adding on to this:
Spoiler!
Lize is pretty commonly described in the novel as having a cutesy type of aesthetic, and often wears cute types of clothing, where as even now Edith is said to suit a more luxurious, sensual type of vibe, and tends to wear more mature, revealing clothing. When Liz's showed up at Kilians door, he noticed she was apparently wearing far more revealing nightwear than she usually would, much more similar to what Edith would wear than her, in an obvious attempt to seduce him that he saw right through. He goes on to note to himself that when Edith wears these types of things, it makes her feel irresistible to him. But when he sees Liz's wearing the same type of apparel, he feels she looks ridiculous, and even describes her as looking "like a child that got into their mothers wardrobe. He's pretty ruthless in his thoughts towards her in this scene, even if he does remain at least cordial on the outside. Unfortunate that they toned the scene down so much, and rushed it. It was satisfying to read Lize all upset that Kilian seemed to have 0 interest in her despite her being so unusually assertive towards him
