This has a novel, by the way, but I've only read the side story coz it's free in ridibooks. . (I'm willing to give little or huge spoilers if someone asks 🫣)

We will feel so bad for him in the main story, but we will find peace in the side story. It's not going to be the perfect ending we desire (coz of circumstances), but we will somehow get rewarded in the side story, so don't worry.
