I haven't read the main story, but side story mentioned that they used to engaged in threesomes. Then the beta also penetrated the omega several times (but of course he was forced to do it and omega hates it too LOL) it's coz the alpha would pester him to do so – coz he wanted the beta to also love the omega.
✕It was also mentioned that the alpha risked his own life in front of the chairman (his father) to save the beta. Seemed like they cut ties with the family after that. Omega was kinda jealous about this so he asked the alpha if he would also do the same for him, alpha answered yes so he was relieved.

But the beta was so hard on himself and has inferiority complex that he thinks he can't make the alpha happy so he never dreamed of marrying him. The side story takes place 4 years after the end of main story, so the truce between the omega and beta has been going on for 4 yrs. Now, the alpha and omega are already married for a year. The newlywed lives together in a penthouse officetel while the beta lives alone in his own apartment. So, the beta is the "mistress" and the alpha stays over at his place 3 days a week or sometimes longer (coz the alpha won't come home unless the omega nagged him 😂 so he had to come pick his husband everytime and bring him home). Omega is now a businessman and owns 3 establishments and the beta works for him.
✕So, the omega invited the beta for drinks to talk about the alpha and hands him a contract. He also showed him photos from their anniversary trip to Greece, beta was hurt and jealous inside but he still looked at the photos 🥲. Omega got heavily drunk so beta helped him go home to the penthouse, the alpha worriedly rushed to the omega —he walked past the beta as if he didn't see him. ("they were truly a perfect couple. Since your husband came home drunk, I guess you doesn't even notice your lover" – this was the beta's inner thoughts 😭). Beta is jealous but he still helped carry the omega to the bedroom, the alpha even scolded him to be careful coz his husband might get bruised. Alpha tended to the omega without sparing a single glance to the beta.
Beta was upset and left the room. After taking care of the omega, the alpha also went out. They talked about the omega. Beta said the omega doesn't deserve the alpha, that he shoud've married someone else (he meant the alpha should marry someone else entirely, not him nor the omega).
But the alpha said he feels sorry for the omega. The beta is confused coz he thinks there's nothing pitiful about the omega coz he's rich, handsome and capable LOL. But what's more shocking is here: the alpha said that if the beta had asked to marry him, he would've broken up with the omega. Now, even the beta felt sorry for the omega too. But the beta refused and objected, saying there would be no fun in marrying a worthless piece of s*t like him, so he shouldn't divorce his husband. The alpha was upset that the beta didn't want to marry him both in the past and even now. He also scolded beta that if it weren't for the omega, he would've never confess and act on his feelings. Then, the alpha just asked the beta to look at the omega a little more favorably, and the beta reluctantly agreed this time. But he's thinking he doesn't want to thrust into the omega's hole again, he will find another way. 😂
When the omega woke up, the alpha fed him the porridge that the beta brought. Omega even asked if it was poisoned, the alpha just laughed and handed him the signed contract from the beta. Alpha asked what is it and the beta jokingly answered that it's a slave contract.
That contract was the partnership deal the omega offered for the beta earlier. Coz just like what the omega said to the beta beforehand, the alpha+beta wouldn't survive alone after leaving the chairman's wing coz alpha is high maintenance and beta would go broke just after 3 days. Meanwhile, the omega is already rich and good in business so he can provide for the alpha, and beta had no choice but to work under him. But the omega is also aware that he can't handle the alpha alone, he needs the beta to handle alpha's sassiness/childishness and to tame him. And he also needs the beta's support in managing his business. The beta finally agreed. So the 4-year long truce is finally over and the war ended.
