@Whatever she's been pretty clear. Verbally, by her unambiguous actions and now physically.
She wants the marriage annulled and she wants him gone.
She told him to take back the gold chest and get lost and has lived like a fugitive in her own home to avoid him. She's tried to avoid contact and he's pushing him on her while she's up a ladder.
She's even kneed him to get him off her.
It's pretty da** clear what she wants he's just ignoring it.
And so what he drove out the people who tormented her 4 months too late, she's not obligated to try again, or give him a second chance.
He has his own problems, but he created this situation, not her. Least he should do is apologise, then respect her as a person and leave her alone.
@otterlyanylitical but she clearly still loves the Duke and everybody deserves a second chance right
@Psychopathic_Killer only if that person wants to freely give it.
He's disregarded every single verbal and no verbal cue that she doesn't want to, and he puts the blame for that on her, as if it's her fault he won't leave.

She's an empathetic woman and very soft hearted. Acting hurt and pitiful is very effective at tugging on her heart strings. She is also easily swept up in her emotions, and pressured in to conforming and enduring discomfort.

He knows she wants him to leave, he admits it.  He's forcing himself on her and praying on he weak points and using the permissiveness  of her brother to get what he wants.

Does she have lingering feelings, maybe, look at everything she did to try and make the marriage work.
That would be hard to shake off.

But all her behaviour, hiding , looking  round doors before she opens them, skipping  meals to avoid coming face to face with him, is that of a woman who's also very frightened.

When you break it down , he's obsessively stalking her in her own home, and has been from the beginning even if she doesn't know it yet.

When you look at it from her perspective, it's a rather terrifying situation, and her family is allowing it. So she's enduring this till he leaves.
She can't even leave herself as it's clear he'll follow her.
Plus there is no marriage, it's being annulled, he has also not apologised or explained anything.
@otterlyanylitical so if the author will go with your theories ., this manhwa will end . And that will be a shi**y manhwa . In the real world mybe it will look like that but not in a manhwa... So.. Youll have to endure what the author writes or just drop it
@otterlyanylitical nah nah nah, if she actually wanted him gone she would
Have frowned in disgust but guess what, she blushed, and even said she wants to be tricked for the moment but she remembered what shecsaw with the duke on his cousin which was a misunderstanding by the way, and that was why she kneed him, heck that misunderstanding was what led to her losing all hope in him and leaving, are you reading, he does deserve all that he is getting right now, the burnt food, the servants hiding her from him, well deserved, but she clearly still loves him and what he does not deserve is someone who see!s illiterate to the point he cant comprehend obvious facts to be saying sh**, all though in one way he deserves this too, but bro, you ain't understanding sh** so don't talk. If you actually said I know she loves him but I don't want them back together, because he hurt her too much would be understandable but whathever you are saying is foolishness
@otterlyanylitical yeah he is definitely stalking her, but her brother is a good brother to her, and he knows she still love himself, much more than what can be wrote off as lingering feelings, that is why he condones what the duke is doing, he knows things can be fixed, that's why he is letting the duke stay, she is hurt that is the reason why she is avoiding him, she just needs time to come back around an his the duke's burden he must bear in all this is to stick with her until she is ready to hear his side of the story,
