@Nobody because men can't gain witch powers, Ichi is an anomaly in that manner. It's not that people haven't tried, but they been proven right that men can't become witches. If the magikeepers can study him they could learn why he's able to, probably the angle they're working. I'm willing to bet he was a candidate to become a magikeeper tho.
