@NullFlameBorn this is such an astute observation. As you get older you've been through so many ups and downs that nothing seems that serious anymore. I really like the way that the mangaka writes in those moments of Aesir's reflection when he tries to put himself in others' shoes in order to give them grace for their emotions (case in point: acknowledging how hard goodbyes are for "normal" people)
