@Morumotto  I'd say otherwise, its just every country has unique familly customs. If anything, his father is just concerned hence pressures him to get a stable paying job and not just rely on risky stock market. And lastly the parents seems already wealthy and successful to just gamble and leisurely spends their remaining time.

@King Dejesuss the whole "different cultures" argument being used to justify either controlling behavior or enforcing a cultural normative where one group of people has less rights than another-- such as freedom to choose one's career path, one's spouse, or one's lifestyle and how it can be sustained-- is not only why I don't respect Sharia Law, I also despise the Chinese Communist Party. The world should either move towards egalitarianism as a natural progression of balance between the powers of governance and the people being governed, or mutual destruction to all parties involved.
