@John Paul Balidoy I'm saying it's fluff and filler. The outcome was already known. This easily could've been 10 chapters shorter and nothing in the plot would be affected. We could be 10 chapters into the actual story instead of rehashing old plot points.
I admit, and put in my original post, that the first few chapters of this flashback were good, we learned about life underground. But the chase sequence was overly drawn out and was distracting the story, considering how long it was.
