this is so heartbreaking to read... I like both Harvey and Logan...yeah, ok, Logan has a temper, but I am sure he's a good guy (and he didn't have it easy either)...we will see eventually... anyway, JC is a good friend (yeah, let me hope - FRIEND, I would be sad for this story to turn into a love-triangle, there is so much going on, that it's not necessary to have a ML2...) -- anyway, I hope the situation will go better for Harvey and Bonnie... :( </3
@Terru_chan ngl having a sad back story in my opinion is just a way for the author to try and redeem and justify a shallow s*y written characters actions in the story
@Narcissistoh we didn't understand ourselves there... :) I am THE LAST person to be justifying someone's bad/sh.tty behavior just bcs he has a sad backstory... :) I hate that kind of thing... What I meant is, that I think Logan is a f.ckboy, doesn't respect his love-interests and does speak before thinking, sure, BUT I don't think he is a bad person... a bad boyfriend? Yeah, probably... but not an evil person... 1) for example - similar situation - the ML in High school salty heart is often hated - he's a f.ckboy too, but I also don't think he's a bad person 2) on the contrary - another example - the ML in Heart of the Lotus is often pitied, bcs he has a sad and heartbreaking past, BUT for me it's a no can do, I don't care about his sad past, what he's done and IS doing is making him a bad person and nothing can justify that... :)
@Terru_chan yess logan and harvey have so much more in common than they think, there is so much potential. they can heal each other. and i also agree that i don't want this to turn into L-triangle 💗
@Terru_chan yesss there is a difference between arrogant fxk boy (that's the matter of growing up and redeeming) and an ACTUAL bad person (which can not be redeemed). It's not like logan is horrible person that doesn't feel remorse or is completely selfish. He is just slow about these things and acts recklessly. Not a really bad person to me, just immature.

@Terru_chan was really just relaying an opinion on s*y author moves but yeah i agree im just very annoyed at the same repeating pattern with most manhwas now adays also this is a great example on differentiating between redeemable and not havent seen similar but i have def read lotus because for the love of god just why ir has every nonsensical s*t a yaoi could possible have the mew season is just bad at that point i think most manhwas that have these kinds of tropes are just the authors way of expressing their inner most deep motives, thoughts and kinks
@Narcissist i agree! it gets to the point and when there is too much, i just think that how can they even bring that to light? like sit down, write and draw it. That's insane to me. Nothing like that needs to be explicitelly drawn or even added as a ,,plot". i mean some people like disturbing stories, but those stories are mostly ,,romance" as well which is sickening. but yeah here ml is far from being a bad person, just a dic/k xdd but we will see<3

I have nothing more to add, I truly hate when a chc is an evil b.stard who not only did bad things in the past, but is still doing them in the present AND does not even try to get better - AND then the author show us his "heartbreaking" past etc.... and I am like "Ok, BUT that can't justify his actions/behavior"... this is really smtg I cannot comprehend... why should I pity someone who's pure evil, just bcs he hasn't had it easy?? :D If I compare it to my own life - I, too, haven't had it easy... and? Should I harm people? :D NO WAY... sooo, no can do :) it's really a trash and tiring trope...
