I know Mafuyu like Ue but boy really need time for « forget » Yuki. I feel like Ue is the second option, Ue deserves better

I don't agree with any of the comments above me at all. Dude's boyfriend KILLED HIMSELF!!! He has reasons for feeling the way he does. Ue is NOT the "second option" that is just plain bullshit, we know Mafuyu genuinely loves Ue back. He just can't help but remember all his trauma about Yuki, (which btw he blames himself for) and is having a hard time expressing his feelings. Saying you don't like Mafuyu bc "Ue deserves better" is just plain apathetic. Read their story bros, feel some empathy for the poorguy.

Exactly it's not like he's still not over yuki, he killed him self it's a lot to take in and mafuyu thinks it's his fault, but always has suicidal tendencies like his father, yuki's mom also said to mafuyu that he's like a anchor for yuki to hold on to this world, yuki has always been dominant and has a strong up front and created the the image of "perfect" but inside he was very self conscious at beach he said to Mafuyu that " I sure you are going to forget about it" and continues like as if he's not seeming him in his future it's was hella negative approach to see things, he purposely kept mafuyu away from music when mafuyu only wanted to make music with yuki, he never wanted mafuyu to see his imperfect side so he wanted to do it own his own, since mafuyu suffers from parental trauma as he said " my dad hits me when I speak" that's a lot man if you think due to this he was never able to say things what he wanted childhood traumas are no joke, yuki purposely pushed mafuyu away for a very long time knowing he will be lost without him resulting fight, where yuki said I can't live without you because mafuyu was mad about yuki's abandonment mafuyu said "are you willing to die for me then?" It was a fight like every normal couple do but for yuki it was like a permission due to his suicidal conditions it was toxic how yuki always wanted to keep mafuyu in boundaries while uenoyama gave him wings and mafuyu deserve a healthy relationship, he deserves to heal on his own, he is still suffering from parental trauma and trauma he got from loving yuki, but still he loves uenoyama because uenoyama is so kind hearted, considerate, warm has no ulternstivr motive he taught him to fly, he is so genuine which mafuyu needs in his life because mafuyu him self is so precious and they deserves each other

tensh and Akshi speaking FACTS up here ^^^. Y'all need to gain some emotional intelligence. It's okay to feel frustrated on Ue's behalf but hating on Mafuyu is NOT fair

ik it isn't easy. as a person whose is a constant mess and who overthinks this manga is a really disturbing for me. ik it makes you feel lighter when you (a reader) blame someone (a character) else altho it's not right at all. Remember they are still kids, in that age it's never easy to deal with feelings. if I was Mafuyu I would be really scared, confused and would not be able to take decisions. If I was Uenoyama my patience would run out (kudos to him for being the best bf ever). So personally I think they are trying their best. If I have to be honest it would be easy for me to blame one of them but I can't because no one is at fault here. It would be easier if Yuki was a bad person but he wasn't. As a reader ik it makes you mad because of frustration but read till the end bcuz it's worth your time. It's not that Mafuyu isn't over Yuki, Mafuyu can reminisce the memories with Yuki because more than half of his childhood memories are filled with Yuki and he appreciates those shows he moved on which is a positive thing. Ik Uenoyama deserves the best but it's not easy for any of them. It is cruel but reality is worse, it's not a "flower" life. Mafuyu got a lot of years to make new memories with Ritsuka. I hope he heals himself and showers Ritsuka with a lot of love. I hope they go on a lot of dates and make good memories
