@Olly wait is this the main catalyst, or do more things happen? if she wasn't such an obnoxiously hypocritical preacher I'd feel bad for her l, esp since she didn't know what the temple was up to. but since she's done nothing but act all high and mighty since being Crown princess, she deserves a rude awakening.
@XMLrm Well I posted some spoilers but here you go
Spoiler!
In the next chapter When the meeting was over Helios wanted to talk to Kael but he said his wife is waiting him and Hestia appeared and Helios is like was it you who instigated Kael for accusing the Temple and Hestia says well you played me with a loophole, and I also fought back with a loophole 😏
So in Heli's office he said to Kael that you were very concerned about the royal authority and Kael replied politely that he is accusing the temple because he respects the royal family and Hestia added that in the Palace the highest authority belongs to crown princess and then the emperor and Helios started to shout at her but Kael became angry as well that heli was treating Hestia badly and stated that even if he doesn't do anything Diana will still face the repercussions and the royal family isn't suffering for Diana's debt.
Heli asks him what does he want? Does he want Diana's abdication or does he want the royal family to lose their face? So Kael replied that I only accused the temple not the royal family and Heli is like I had a deal with Hestia and now you are backstabbing me and Kael gets angry and says to Helios that, "it was you who caught Hess with a cheap trap. Did you think I, her husband, would just watch?” ( that’s how I fainted right there 😝)
Meanwhile Hestia was looking for something to drink while her husband and Heli were fighting 😂 and she found tea leaves but since she doesn't know how to make tea but she thought since these are the tea leaves used by crown prince they would taste good right?
And all of sudden Kael stops his fight with the crown prince and snatched the teapot from Hestia's hand and made tea for her 😳 and tells her if she doesn't like it she should throw it away 🤭 and Helios is like should I bring you coffee and Kael bring the jealous husband tells him to stop thinking about her and concerning her tastes 😂
@kali This is a big plot point but the main storyline in my opinion is the relationship between the two main characters. Kael is going to have to make a big decision that will make or break
Spoiler!
his relationship with Hestia....
whether or not he will help get the princess deposed, but he decides to not have her deposed only because Helios begs him not to and to stop the ruling elite who were pushing really hard to depose her. They were literally at the palace gates asking for her to be deposed.
Because of his decision his relationship with the Hestia takes a dive. Hestia tries to kill herself and Kael stops her and decides to leave the capital with her to focus on their relationship.
@kali Sorry I misunderstood your question this one will answer your questions
Spoiler!
About the princess, this wasn't the main reason it's how rigid she is.
Like you said she thinks she's right alllll of the time. She won't admit she's wrong except when under EXTREME duress, her refusing to accept any wrong doing but the main reason is because....
she later refuses to have any kids with Helios which he needs to continue on his line since he has no siblings. They try to keep the relationship going but it keeps coming back to kids; they decided to amicably divorce.
@Olly holy sh**, was that her only reason for the attempt, or because she felt she had done her job and there was nothing else she could do? Tysm man, here i thought it would be smooth sailing from now on.
