Yes, let's root for Tj and Ian to be miserable for the rest of their life, because that's what's gonna happen if they don't part ways. But hey, at least they'll have good s**.

Love is not only about happiness. It s Disney way of looking on love. Sometimes love is very painful, but it's still love couse you care so much about someone and nobody touch some part of you, that you don t even know that you have.
Love is more about how important is someone for you and what someone make you feel. Between Ian and Tj is love, they are very important for each other. Even if Ian will end with Jo, he never will feel something so deep and strong like he feel towards Tj.
Love is not about being happy, but about what you feel to someone.
That's an emo fantasy. In real life love is not enough. In a relationship you have to grow and change together. You have to make things work as adults. You can't just say "oh we're broken lest stay like this forever" you have to try to fix what is wrong. They can love each other and still move on. Ian knows they are bad for each other that's why he's trying to put distance. Life is about change, things that don't change die.
@x** I would root for them if both wanted the same thing, but you seem to forget that even though Ian loves him, he's doing everything he can to escape. He just got a fake ID to make sure that Tj can't find him. And Tj for his part is doing everything in his power to stop him from running away. They're not equals in this relationship, one of them has freedom to choose to stay in it, the other one does not.
