@KCamilla Harua said that bc he took shiro to be under shigure's care, and that caused shigure to want to run away with the kid, and he was killed by a car accident. So Haru takes the guilt bc if shigure wouldn't have met shiro, he wouldn't be dead.

@Paperdobby He loved him as a big brother. He just wanted to take shiro out of all the bullsh*t he was living. Shigure was in love with Haru, but he wanted to take shiro away even if that meant be away from Haru.

@Habyun I think the allusion to shigure loving haru was purposefully vague bc  shigure hated himself, that's why he seemed darker to haru everytime he saw him. That ultimately means he couldn't truly love anyone else either (though I do think he loved haru but the love is not so much a clear cut romantic love). He wanted to run away with shiro bc shiro's brokenness reminded him of himself. He was essentially a tragic hero who was set up to save others but couldn't save himself
