@BLACKOUTZ exactly!! When she was younger she was already having a tiny crush on him, or more than a brotherly feeling...that's your cue to drop lol

I agree and not.
I think its true but I think you're also forgetting the potential it gave the story.
I understand how this sister and brother situation weirded you guys out but it seems to have also kind of made you lose focus on the entire story.
Personally it gives a lot of potential.
But very first, it makes it slightly refreshing. The fl ACTUALLY gets to go to the family she's related to without her liking them.
Often when the fl doesn't like her blood family, the found family protects her like a doll, a baby, a puppy. They don't actually try to fix the situation, it often actually worsens their relationship with the other family which tho isn't bad it could be when it's a royal family.
The fact fl decided to go trough this issue herself without being overprotected is really cool in my viewpoint.
It first show that fl WILL and IS doing what SHE wants. She isn't getting totally protected or in a suffocating protection so it's really nice to know that.She's capable of protecting or doing her own choices for what she thinks is the best.
