I dropped this a while ago when she returned to the royals because I knew she'd end up w her "brothers" yes kot by blood but still weird...read this chapter to see what was happening and yup, it's weird. It reminds me of The twin siblings new life, she married her guardian

@Mochi true, I was thinking of dropping this too. you know it feels like she just return to the imperial family so that she marry the brother in the future . what a sly

Many stories where the fl gets into the family often accepts the idea the ml is their brother at least.
This time our fl didn't??? She felt uncomfortable to call them her parents, or her brothers. Maybe at most Andrea as a brother because she had no feeling for him.
It was almost instantly where she got feelings for Ulysses so it made me less weirded out because Fl did not think of them as family.
Now it's onto the ml part tho.
I do agree there's chances he might've not been the same.
As of now he never called her sister and she didn't either so there's chances he didn't as well.
But we're not sure.
So I don't agree that it's completely similar, fl did not have this "They're my family phase" to "Oh why brother so handsome."
But I agree that I cannot say the same case for ml.
If it's actually like that for him tho then I'll start to agree that it will actually start weirding me out. As of now I've been on eggshells praying that wasn't the case.

I think its true but I think you're also forgetting the potential it gave the story.
I understand how this sister and brother situation weirded you guys out but it seems to have also kind of made you lose focus on the entire story.
Personally it gives a lot of potential.
But very first, it makes it slightly refreshing. The fl ACTUALLY gets to go to the family she's related to without her liking them.
Often when the fl doesn't like her blood family, the found family protects her like a doll, a baby, a puppy. They don't actually try to fix the situation, it often actually worsens their relationship with the other family which tho isn't bad it could be when it's a royal family.
The fact fl decided to go trough this issue herself without being overprotected is really cool in my viewpoint.
It first show that fl WILL and IS doing what SHE wants. She isn't getting totally protected or in a suffocating protection so it's really nice to know that.She's capable of protecting or doing her own choices for what she thinks is the best.

The Duke environment is already well known, many stories already do that and it's often very repetitive on how issues happen or fl finds something to protect herself and stuff.
Its the general stuff that tho it is repetitive, we all love it anyways 🤔
But in this case, giving a new environment to live in is much more refreshing.
It isn't entirely safe so the fl will in fact learn new things, learn connections and learn how to protect herself especially.
Its a strategic place and I PERSONALLY love strategic stuff!!! 🤩
The idea of learning new things outside of her safe place might make the situation more tense, more fun to learn, it makes us all jumpy and on a tight rope.

The idea of going outside of the Duke house means learning things unrelated to the Duke.
And since it's the royal place... There's a LOT MORE of stuff and stories, secrets to discover!
I mean... We already saw how the temple gave us some interesting info not long ago with Leon... 🤭
This situation uncovers many new things, I forgot how many times I repeated myself tbh
But I think it's worth giving a chance.
