I'm sorry but I find it hilarious how in every manhwa in history of the world, every single Male lead has the biggest Coʻck in history, when Asian men's average size is the smallest in the world This wishful thinking?
I heard it's a false stereotype? From my experience it was incorrect too but I've looked it up (just now😂) and there is information/evidence on it. So I'm generally confused/skeptical on the whole saying tbh.
All that aside, considering that this genre is made for "women" I think it reflects on us more then men. (Or maybe the artist just wanna draw big ones)
@Mareha Beep what's more confusing to me is that even though this is a Boys Love genre, there's quite always the bottom who looks so fragile and much smaller than the top..alllmost as if the author didnt even intend on them being two men but more like men in a heteronormative relationship, u know?
@Yohanna yeah like just because someone is small does mean they are automatically the bottom (I am though) but I have a few smaller top friends. Also smaller di** doesn't mean bottom. You can literally tell this was written by a woman.
@You said it's your last chapter 30 minutes ago 🙂 Real. It pis*** me off so much to put this heteronormative into a qu€€r relationship. Just don't do boyslove in the first place? ㅠㅠ
@Yohanna even if they wanted make the smaller one bottom. But why the bottom acting like a woman? And I am not calling woman weak but they act so fragile and definitely NOT like a man. Just draw a women atp
@You said it's your last chapter 30 minutes ago 🙂 That's what i mean too, they take the stereotypes of a woman and put it into the bottom and then people start calling the bottom wife and the top husband💀💀💀💀💀
@Yohanna if I can add on a lot of Korean BL stories you see usually are originally created with a heterosexual relationship and redrawn to be gay to appeal to a lesser (but rapidly growing) community for profit! This means they basically just swapped out every *she* for *he" and slapped a sticker that says "BL" on it. This also can imply that instead of rewriting the story to appeal to what the real life gay community experiences they give common feminine tropes to the bottom (including appearances) and end up receiving loads of support and profit because it's one of the few sources of media that openly displays gay s** as a normative!
