Spoiler!
When Arel looks up and sees him, she first thinks it’s a hallucination because she never expected him of all people to come for her. But when he touches her she realizes he’s really there. Surprised she asks why he came and he simply replies that of course he would come because she’s his daughter 😭😭 He then pulls her into a hug. She’s surprised he came looking for her because she always believed he didn’t really care about her. When he says he came because his daughter was there, she feels a mix of emotions like surprise, doubt, gratitude, and guilt. She realizes maybe she misunderstood him all along. His awkward but genuine concern checking if she’s hurt or has a fever feels like real fatherly affection, even if he still teases her. He tells her they should go back to her mother (Mehen) but suddenly he senses something dangerous nearby.

Acting quickly, he gives Arel a magical compass-like artifact and tells her to walk forward while thinking of her happiest memories and the person she misses the most. He warns her not to answer if anyone calls her. Before she can question him further, he sends her away to safety. When she regains her senses, she’s alone in darkness. Meanwhile, chaos erupts in the imperial palace after a mysterious blackout during the ball.
I like to post spoilers for the stories I find interesting because I don't have much time to read novel due to busy schedule you will find me in most romantic historical manhwa comment sections

Spoiler!
The emperor, frustrated orders people to find the prince and gather anyone who might explain the situation. At the same time, Pession realizes Arel has disappeared during the incident. Desperately, he runs to a secret temple inside the palace that only the imperial family can enter. There he tries to contact an ancient immortal being connected to the Allerman Imperial family. The immortal, Nathan, appears and tells Pession that Arel's father has already gone to save her, so Pession should just wait. But Pession refuses because he feels guilty for leaving Arel alone and hates feeling powerless. He begs the immortal for help so he can save her himself. Nathan is intrigued by Pession’s sincerity because the boy’s feelings seem pure and not politically motivated, which is rare in the palace. Curious, Nathan asks how much Pession truly cares about Arel and what he’s willing to risk. Without hesitation, Pession answers that he would bet everything he has 😭😭

He doesn’t care about the cost because her happiness alone is enough for him. Nathan is amused and slightly exasperated by Pession’s devotion decides to assist him. Meanwhile, a violent clash erupts as Valar confronts a mysterious man with golden eyes. Despite Valar’s immense power, the man proves elusive and unsettling, hinting at a dangerous interest in Arel. Their battle ends inconclusively as the stranger withdraws, leaving behind a corrupted, illusion-filled environment designed to trap and manipulate. Valar quickly realizes the danger but is caught off guard when the illusions take a deeply personal turn.
Then
Spoiler!
He is confronted with a vision of his sister something he knows is fake, yet cannot bring himself to destroy. His emotional attachment overrides his judgment, leaving him vulnerable and momentarily abandoning his mission to rescue Arel. At the same time, Arel wanders alone through a dark space guided only by a faintly glowing compass. Fear and doubt creep in as she worries about Valar and she thinks about her complicated feelings toward him as a father figure. The darkness begins to exploit her past trauma, calling her by her old name and dragging her into memories of her previous life, her failure as a violinist and the emotional abandonment by her mother.

These memories unravel her sense of self-worth, reminding her that she lived only for others and was discarded when she failed. As the illusion deepens, Arel relives the pivotal moment of her life of freezing on stage, losing her ability to play, and being coldly abandoned by her mother. The weight of rejection, loneliness, and longing consumes her. Even after death, she still yearns for her mother’s love, unable to let go. The darkness feeds on these feelings, convincing her that she is unlovable and alone, tempting her to give up and disappear. Just as she begins to succumb, a voice breaks through Pession calling her name. At first she believes it’s another illusion, but the compass reacts, and light overshadows the darkness. Pession reaches her, cutting through the illusion and pulling her back. In that moment, he becomes her salvation, offering a hand and a smile as he finally reaches her and calls out, “Arel, I’m here to pick you up.” 🥹🥹

Spoiler!
At first, she thinks he might be another trick, but when she feels his warm hands, she realizes he is real. Pession tells her he came because he missed her and couldn’t just leave her alone. Arel becomes emotional and starts crying, even though she tries to deny it. Pession comforts her and says he wants her to be happy and stay by her side forever. Arel realizes she doesn’t want to be alone anymore and wants to go with him, but she asks for a moment before leaving.

Before escaping, Arel turns back to face the illusion one last time. She picks up her violin and decides to play. As she performs, the music brings back memories of her past and her mother. She realizes that her life had always been controlled by others, especially her mother, and that she was never truly living for herself. This time, she plays only for herself, and for the first time, she feels free, happy, and truly alive. The illusion tries to break her again by showing her mother and reminding her of her pain. However, Arel stands strong. She admits that her mother hurt her, but she also forgives her because she still loves her. By doing this, she lets go of her past pain and decides to live her own life and be happy.

@Ur Mommy well I have been trying to post these two spoilers for past hour because for some reason I'm unable to post ANY comments on this site the moment this chapter uploads. And it's happening for past 3 weeks. Do you face these problems or is it only me 🤔
