This is the first time i really find this work boring, too much sh^t happened, the situation escalated too much and when that happen the only think that will come is more excalation, i already see this going down the drain in the next future so i really have to hope the author get his sh^t together and make things more menageable and interesting in place of just venting useless brutal battles like the readers are id^ots that crave only for it.

@NeverWhere you really do sound like an idiot. Are you trying to be an idiot by choice or are you truly an idiot? If you really put your mind to it and read what's happening instead of just scrolling through, you'd understand some things atleast.

If you want a generic tower climbing story, this unfortunately isn't for you. You should drop this series

I truly pity you. I hope you get over generic, low effort stories and enjoy some good stuff
@illusion At the beginning this story was gold, there where hard situations but it was more or less menageable and it was credible, now is an avalanche of impossible situation meant to engorge the reades so they focus on the beloodbath an little else.

I'm sure you willlike other work like Pick Me Up, where the same thing happen a lot, i loathe it cause in the end the author end up in using useless deus ex machina and forced situations to solve things... just link in this arc wherei n the end things happened just cause it was needed.

If you can't see it better for you, you will ike much more works but i have read too much until now, so many things that i am become picky and i can see the receipe for disaster and this last arc is exactly that.

Not that i dump extremely basic work, even some bad ones, but i see they problem and acept them and i see even more a wonderful work that slowly start to go bad like this one, Pick Me Up, The Greatest Estate Developer (only in the last part) and more.
@NeverWhere   Reads a story about a barbarian.Complains when main character actually behaves like one.

@Cid Lunius I'm ready different work about barbarians, this started the best and is going down, if you are blind is not my fault.
@NeverWhere could it be because you're reading it every release?
I binged and got really hooked during this arc.
But this thought also popped up that it's long. Had I not been binging, I might've thought it's too dragged or might've gotten bored.
Fortunately, I binged, so the momentum of the action and progression didn't drop.
I did wonder a few times though as to why he didn't use his flesh/corpse explosion when he had the clown in his grasp 🤔

@TheSimpQueen I didn't binge, i don't remember exactly when i started but i think there where near 20 chapters, so i read it in 2-5 chapters each time i made a circle run of all my readings.

This last part for me was not only dragged a lot but compared to beofre i have seen the increased forced narration and incongruence, for example the corpse explosion was used once when normally is one of the main skills of a powerful necromanced, used well in battle.

The mage on his part shown immense power but then use it only what needed and excape with the necromancer in the end so he can come back for another bloodbath in the future, clearly a deux ex machina made for that purpose.

Lastly the only real won fight between the three happen outsceen and also take out one of the most powerful ally, how convenient.

I'd really like the author to take a break and make up a better story, he can, i know it, it just need not to fall in the easy trap of mindless bloodbath and violence.
@NeverWhere
Exactly. That's what I meant.

Happens to me too. Often when I start reading too early, things start feeling slow and boring and so I often give up. Reading weekly always breaks the flow for long arcs.

Marinating helps tho.  If it looks like a long arc, I stop reading until there are 40 some chapters accumulated. I had dropped reading this around 80ish, but then picked it up again yesterday and binged from the beginning, didn't feel too dragged and also helps one ignore the inconsistencies.

That's why I wasn't much bothered by him not using corpse explosion or why his blood suddenly wasn't acidic anymore.
I guess the clown had to survive as a plot relevant character, since he does show up in the round table meeting with interest towards the lion.

For the mage, he got trapped in a separate dimension by the MC ally mages, that's why he showed up late and then he also got a call to evacuate and it had turned into many against 1 fight, I suppose that's why he fled. I guess, his priority was to save the clown.

Again, I'm not too bothered and just questioned the inconsistencies because I binged. I was an exciting arc tbh.
Had I read it weekly, I would've been shouting with you lol.
@TheSimpQueen I've started to do the same, i stall the manha that i have big doubts on, then i go back when a certain amount of chapter is out. 20-50+, and give it a try in that way.

If the binge show that i can read them that way i continue in that mode, if the bad part end and the work become better i restart reading regularly and if i see that i can't bear it anymore i drop it for good.

I also understand your explanation but i understand it, it's just that i see most of those event as forced to ultimately fix a situation that was fundamentally impossible to overcome, deux ex machina over deus ex machina.

I'm not stopping reading and not stalling for now, expecially now that this arc seem to have come to an end, i will stall if in the next arc it will be the same.
