Spoiler!
Since the Emperor was believed to be dying, the Angenas family had quickly decided to seize power. This was almost an act of treason. The Empress ordered the Vice Commander to remove anyone blocking her way, but the Imperial Knights hesitated because they knew that drawing their swords would start a civil conflict. Finally, the commander drew his sword, and everyone stood in complete silence. Before anyone could fight, the Emperor’s bedroom door opened. An attendant announced that the Emperor was awake and wanted everyone to come inside. Inside the room, Emperor Jovanes was weak and struggling to breathe, but he was conscious. Perez asked if he remembered what had happened before he collapsed. The Emperor pointed to the bottle of liquor on the floor and said it had been P O I S O N E D. Perez asked the doctor to test the drink for Tithi spider venom. The doctor said it would take time, but Perez explained that he had recently survived an assassination attempt using the same vernon. He then confessed that before the competition, he had secretly given the Emperor tea mixed with an antidote, just in case someone tried to p o i s o n him. The Emperor finally understood that Perez’s preparation had saved his life. After testing the drink, the doctor confirmed that it did contain Tithi spider venom. Furious, Emperor Jovanes ordered Perez to bring the Empress before him immediately. Perez instead suggested waiting a little longer so the Emperor could see how everyone behaved after believing he was dead. The Emperor agreed.
Outside the room, the Empress was terrified when she learned that the Emperor was alive. Perez politely invited her inside. She walked forward with shaking legs while Grandfather, Tia, and Perez followed. The room smelled strongly of medicine, and the Emperor looked pale and exhausted, but he was alive. The Emperor looked at the Empress and said, "I am alive. You must be happy, aren't you?" The Empress was speechless and could not answer. The Emperor then ordered Perez to bring in Head Maid Otua. Earlier, Perez had secretly questioned the maid after she returned from the Empress’s palace. Frightened of Perez, the maid confessed everything. She admitted that the Empress had ordered her to mix Tithi spider venom into the Emperor’s liquor. She even handed Perez the small bottle of poison she had used. Holding the bottle, Perez smiled quietly. He realized he had been fortunate to prepare in advance. Because he had already suspected danger and given the Emperor the antidote, the assassination failed. Now, with the maid's confession and the venomous bottle as evidence, Perez finally had proof of the Empress’s crime.

Spoiler!
Maid Otua, actually secretly worked for both the Empress and Perez. Years ago, Perez told her that if the Empress ever tried to p o i s o n the Emperor, she should inform him first. In return, he secretly sent her a large amount of money every year. Bella maid's actual name) was never truly loyal to the Empress. She only obeyed her because the Empress threatened her family. Then Empress ordered Bella to p o i s o n Jovanes. Afraid for her life, Bella went to Perez and asked what she should do. Surprisingly, Perez told her to follow the Empress's order and pour the venom into the Emperor's drink. He explained that after the Emperor collapsed, they would immediately give him the antidote, so he would survive. Perez wanted to catch the Empress with clear evidence instead of letting her get away. Perez also reminded Bella that many years ago she had p o i s o n e d his food when he was a child living in the abandoned palace. He had known all along that she was the one doing it. Feeling guilty and terrified, Bella apologized and promised to obey Perez. He told her this was her chance to make up for her past mistakes.
Back in the present, after the Emperor collapsed from the venom, he questioned Bella about what had happened. She admitted that she had p o i s o n e d his drink and revealed that the Empress had ordered her to do it. The Empress immediately denied everything and accused Bella and Perez of working together to frame her. Bella then showed the bottle of poison that the Empress had given her. The Empress threatened Bella, trying to scare her into changing her story, but Bella bravely repeated the truth. Perez then presented the strongest piece of evidence, a letter written by the Empress asking her followers to obtain the deadly venom of a Tithi spider. When Emperor Jovanes read the letter, he finally realized that the Empress had truly planned to kill him. Furious, the Emperor ordered the knights to arrest Empress Ravini and throw her into the dungeon. At first, she fought violently and begged the Emperor to believe her. But when she realized there was no escape, she became furious and admitted that she wished the poison had actually killed him. She then turned her anger toward Perez, insulting him and saying she should have killed him and his mother long ago. She screamed that fate had always been against her because Perez kept ruining all of her plans. Finally, the Empress looked at Florentia and realized that she had also played a major role in her downfall. She blamed Florentia for everything, then suddenly began laughing uncontrollably like she had lost her mind. Crying and laughing at the same time, she was dragged away by the knights, while her mad laughter echoed through the palace.
After the Empress was dragged away, Emperor Jovanes was still struggling to breathe. The doctor gave him medicine, but he kept complaining about the Empress instead of thinking about why she had poisoned him. He was only focused on taking revenge against the Angenas family and everyone who helped them. Grandpa watched Jovanes quietly. He knew the Emperor still had not learned anything from what had happened. Instead of arguing with him, grandfather decided to guide the conversation in a way that would help the Empire. Grandpa suggested that Jovanes should finally appoint a Crown Prince. He explained that if the Emperor became seriously ill or died, the Empire would be left without a proper successor. He also told Jovanes that a Crown Prince would not take away his power but would simply carry out his orders. At first, Jovanes did not like the idea because he hated sharing power. However, Grandpa cleverly convinced him by saying that Perez could punish the Angenas family and clean up all of the Empress's crimes in the Emperor's name. Jovanes liked that idea and finally agreed.

@Introvert And
Spoiler!
Grandfather was satisfied. He believed Perez was much wiser than Jovanes and that giving him authority would be good for the Empire. He also thought the founder of the Empire had been wise to rely on the powerful Lombardi family to support weak future emperors. When Tia and Perez returned to the room, they immediately noticed that Jovanes looked much happier than before. They wondered what Rulhac had said to him. Jovanes then officially announced that Perez would become the Crown Prince. Everyone became silent. Perez was so surprised that he could not react at first. He did not look happy or sad because too many emotions were running through his mind. Finally, he accepted the Emperor's order. Tia remembered that in her previous life, Perez had also become Crown Prince, but shortly afterward Jovanes suddenly collapsed. Back then, Perez quietly gained power and later attacked the Lombardi family, especially Vieze. This made Tia wonder what had really caused Jovanes to collapse in her previous life, since this time he had been poisoned by the Empress. Jovanes then ordered Perez to punish the Empress and the Angenas family for all their crimes. Tia secretly liked this order because it gave Perez a legal reason to take revenge. The Emperor also gave Perez letters that had to be sent to the leaders of the five regions of the Empire. Before Perez could officially become Crown Prince, all five regional leaders had to agree and place their seals on the approval document. Three of the leaders were already in the capital, but the leaders from the North and East would need several weeks to travel there.
Since everything was settled, grandfather prepared to leave with Tia. Just as they were about to go, Jovanes called Tia by her full title as Deputy Head of Lombardi. Tia immediately had a bad feeling that she was about to receive an annoying task. Grandpa also looked unhappy and asked what the Emperor wanted. Jovanes gave Tia an official mission. As Deputy Head of Lombardi, she would act as a witness to make sure Perez's actions against the Angenas family were fair and lawful. Then Jovanes added another responsibility. After Perez confiscated the Angenas family's wealth, Tia would oversee giving the money back to the noble families that had lent money to the Angenas. The moment Tia heard this, her mood completely changed. She happily accepted the mission because it meant she could personally help strip the Angenas family of everything they owned and make them repay all the money they owed. She even flattered Jovanes by praising his kindness, although she did not truly mean it.
As she accepted the mission, Tia secretly wondered how much money would still be left in the Angenas family after all the debts, losses, and compensation they would have to pay. She was determined to squeeze every last coin out of them.

Spoiler!
After leaving the Imperial Palace, Perez saw Tia and grandfather off. Before leaving, he warned Perez not to use Tia for his own benefit. He told Perez that Tia should not have to solve the Empire's problems. Tia argued that she deserved to recover all the money the Angenas family owed because even her own business had suffered losses. She joked that she would even tear down the Angenas mansion and sell its bricks if necessary. After saying goodbye, Tia reminded Perez not to overwork himself. As soon as they left, Perez began working without taking any breaks. He ordered the Empress to be watched in prison, sealed the Angenas mansion, sent letters to important noble families explaining the Angenas family's crimes, and delivered the Emperor's official order naming him Crown Prince. Everything had clearly been planned in advance, and he completed it all within a few hours. The officials around him were amazed by how quickly and efficiently he worked. After finishing his work, Perez went alone to the old, abandoned palace where he had lived as a child with his mother, Kayla. The place brought back painful memories. His mother had always treated him more like a prince than her own son. She had shown him affection only once, when she gently cared for him after he had been playing outside. Most of his memories of her were sad because she had desperately wanted to die after being trapped by the Empress. She eventually stopped eating and drinking.
Perez remembered the last conversation with his mother. Before dying, Kayla begged him to stay alive and someday kill both the Emperor and the Empress to avenge her. She used his love for her to make him promise revenge. Standing alone in the ruined palace, Perez quietly wondered if she was finally satisfied now that he had succeeded. At that moment, Tia suddenly arrived. She had guessed he would come there. Instead of focusing on the painful memories, she reminded him that this place also held happy memories for them. It was where they first met and where they had shared chocolate cookies as children. She told Perez that he should be proud of surviving everything and reaching this point. She encouraged him to stop living for revenge or for other people and finally live for himself. Overcome with emotion, Perez hugged Tia tightly and thanked her. Although he only said "thank you," he silently decided that from now on he would live for her and for their future together. Because of Tia's words, he also changed his earlier decision. Instead of destroying the old palace, he decided to rebuild it because it had become a place filled with their shared memories. Three days later, Tia was happily busy taking control of the Angenas family's wealth. She enjoyed searching through their mansions for hidden jewels, valuables, and secret assets to recover as much money as possible. Her maid laughed at how excited she was about the work.
