@Introvert And
Spoiler!
Grandfather was satisfied. He believed Perez was much wiser than Jovanes and that giving him authority would be good for the Empire. He also thought the founder of the Empire had been wise to rely on the powerful Lombardi family to support weak future emperors. When Tia and Perez returned to the room, they immediately noticed that Jovanes looked much happier than before. They wondered what Rulhac had said to him. Jovanes then officially announced that Perez would become the Crown Prince. Everyone became silent. Perez was so surprised that he could not react at first. He did not look happy or sad because too many emotions were running through his mind. Finally, he accepted the Emperor's order. Tia remembered that in her previous life, Perez had also become Crown Prince, but shortly afterward Jovanes suddenly collapsed. Back then, Perez quietly gained power and later attacked the Lombardi family, especially Vieze. This made Tia wonder what had really caused Jovanes to collapse in her previous life, since this time he had been poisoned by the Empress. Jovanes then ordered Perez to punish the Empress and the Angenas family for all their crimes. Tia secretly liked this order because it gave Perez a legal reason to take revenge. The Emperor also gave Perez letters that had to be sent to the leaders of the five regions of the Empire. Before Perez could officially become Crown Prince, all five regional leaders had to agree and place their seals on the approval document. Three of the leaders were already in the capital, but the leaders from the North and East would need several weeks to travel there.
Since everything was settled, grandfather prepared to leave with Tia. Just as they were about to go, Jovanes called Tia by her full title as Deputy Head of Lombardi. Tia immediately had a bad feeling that she was about to receive an annoying task. Grandpa also looked unhappy and asked what the Emperor wanted. Jovanes gave Tia an official mission. As Deputy Head of Lombardi, she would act as a witness to make sure Perez's actions against the Angenas family were fair and lawful. Then Jovanes added another responsibility. After Perez confiscated the Angenas family's wealth, Tia would oversee giving the money back to the noble families that had lent money to the Angenas. The moment Tia heard this, her mood completely changed. She happily accepted the mission because it meant she could personally help strip the Angenas family of everything they owned and make them repay all the money they owed. She even flattered Jovanes by praising his kindness, although she did not truly mean it.
As she accepted the mission, Tia secretly wondered how much money would still be left in the Angenas family after all the debts, losses, and compensation they would have to pay. She was determined to squeeze every last coin out of them.

I like to post spoilers for the stories I find interesting because I don't have much time to read novel due to busy schedule you will find me in most romantic historical manhwa comment sections

@Introvert So
Spoiler!
After leaving the Imperial Palace, Perez saw Tia and grandfather off. Before leaving, he warned Perez not to use Tia for his own benefit. He told Perez that Tia should not have to solve the Empire's problems. Tia argued that she deserved to recover all the money the Angenas family owed because even her own business had suffered losses. She joked that she would even tear down the Angenas mansion and sell its bricks if necessary. After saying goodbye, Tia reminded Perez not to overwork himself. As soon as they left, Perez began working without taking any breaks. He ordered the Empress to be watched in prison, sealed the Angenas mansion, sent letters to important noble families explaining the Angenas family's crimes, and delivered the Emperor's official order naming him Crown Prince. Everything had clearly been planned in advance, and he completed it all within a few hours. The officials around him were amazed by how quickly and efficiently he worked. After finishing his work, Perez went alone to the old, abandoned palace where he had lived as a child with his mother, Kayla. The place brought back painful memories. His mother had always treated him more like a prince than her own son. She had shown him affection only once, when she gently cared for him after he had been playing outside. Most of his memories of her were sad because she had desperately wanted to die after being trapped by the Empress. She eventually stopped eating and drinking.
Perez remembered the last conversation with his mother. Before dying, Kayla begged him to stay alive and someday kill both the Emperor and the Empress to avenge her. She used his love for her to make him promise revenge. Standing alone in the ruined palace, Perez quietly wondered if she was finally satisfied now that he had succeeded. At that moment, Tia suddenly arrived. She had guessed he would come there. Instead of focusing on the painful memories, she reminded him that this place also held happy memories for them. It was where they first met and where they had shared chocolate cookies as children. She told Perez that he should be proud of surviving everything and reaching this point. She encouraged him to stop living for revenge or for other people and finally live for himself. Overcome with emotion, Perez hugged Tia tightly and thanked her. Although he only said "thank you," he silently decided that from now on he would live for her and for their future together. Because of Tia's words, he also changed his earlier decision. Instead of destroying the old palace, he decided to rebuild it because it had become a place filled with their shared memories. Three days later, Tia was happily busy taking control of the Angenas family's wealth. She enjoyed searching through their mansions for hidden jewels, valuables, and secret assets to recover as much money as possible. Her maid laughed at how excited she was about the work.
