@H i s o k a But then thered be no reason for them to stay in the palace and it would make it harder to spend time with Ras. Theyd likely be expected to return home as well, and aside from Viola, probably pressured to do so. Either Ras or Sasha would no longer benefit from Chloe, as she cant officially work in both an independent estate and the imperial palace. Anne and Sashas countries could use it as a pretext for conflict as well, and while I have no doubt Chariot would ultimately win, itd still be a hassle. They also wouldnt be in a position to help with Chariots political maneuvering anymore, as theyd no longer be official mistresses and therefore not acting as the emperors agents.

There's nothing wrong with them retaining official mistress status, especially since its clear between all parties that its merely a title.
@H i s o k a Meh... I see it more as a protective measure than a potential romantic relationship. Besides, Larcy took control of the harem a long time ago; they're her mistresses now. And of course they seems much happier (except viola more than happier she just seems to glow up socially speaking)

@BlueBay just saying Like so they can live their own lives cuz I don’t think they’ll get any affection from the emperor
@H i s o k a Thats kinda what Im saying though. Them staying as his official mistresses IS the best way for most of them to live their own lives, especially as they have no actual duties to him.
@BlueBay yes, the thing is, as princess, they are expected to be mary off for political reasons, hardly, they divorcing the emperor, will free them from being remarred because (future) politics need it. They can be more happy as a mistress in paper only. being more free to pursue what they wish.
