TBH, I find the concept of the president killing criminals a complex and controversial issue. Although the individual in question may have committed a crime, if they have already served their sentence, it adds a layer of complexity to the president's character. It becomes evident that the author did not intend to depict this character as merely good or bad. This nuance makes the character more interesting and compelling, it made me question my own moral compass and my perceptions of right and wrong.
@monarch of poverty He's just someone killing another person for breaking the law while also breaking the law. He just wants to kill people and uses his own sense of justice to feel good about it morally.
Not that I'd be much better if someone molested MY child.
At the end of the day, it just comes down to what you base your morals on. If it's man's laws then that guy is as bad as everyone else.
