@Shani Lutz Mi eum is the son of the man that kidnapped Jitae. I can say in the past and even now Jitae does still like him but he is trying to protect Mi Eum from remembering the "hard truth. I don't know the incident that happened to make Mi Eum forget but I'm pretty sure it has something to do with his dad kidnapping Jitae as a kid.
