not a spoiler but why i say obsession is no longer love:-
Obsessions leads to destruction,I believe those destruction aint something u can forget it's something to regret, only a few ppl can forgive that and that's always a case where they were indebted to forgive which isnt healthy but okay???( if the depth was not deep ig)Idk how to take Ian's words 1) He was comfortable around jo(how Ian thought jo was open about his ex)to slip his feelings for tj"there...is"but ian(as a resolution) wanted to bury that feeling and let go"there was". 2) He was defenseless around jo(how jo's eyes makes ian weak/how he talk too much around him than intended)blurted out his feelings for tj "there ...is" but Ian(convincing himself)thought he buried that feeling and that he let it go already"there was".I believe Ian was both comfortable & defenseless during the conversation but more than that Attachments,separation anxiety from tj&ian's harsh life together/just trauma bonding made ian exhausted from loving tj thus why he said "we are just friends now" bcuz 1.Or 2. Ian wants to bury them while ian knew they're harming them; he is unaware that he is exhausted not just from gang but loving tj just like how tj knew he is exploiting Ian's guilt while unaware of his obsession yet.[Devoting energy to a relationship that isnt meeting your need will leave you frustrated & emotionally drained,it can get hard to communicate and give each other the love they deserved]but this was chapters/events ago so like so days/month has passed things changed to the point tj was pis***'i can't believe he gave me that look..'when ian asked"did u give the orders?...again?"(I also believe we don't get to see all the convos between jo&ian just like how tj&ian past convos just the key conversations & heavy plot, maybe i am wrong)Either way jo is kept in dark about tj and I understand why ppl want him out from their mess bcuz what ian did is misleading(personally, I hate that)last chapters were disappointing(not about author's work how Ian strayed away when someone is injured) but interesting how he got defensive for jo(bcuz jo is getting hold of something in Ian's heart)whilst relieved for tj(cuz tj still attached in Ian's heart)or ian might be relieved for himself that he didn't push tj into more destruction!(simply the guilt tied him to tj with a scar which made ian obligated to stay in reach while he wants to get away)that's how we know we are fuc*** up get your seat belts ready team ian,jo,tj,jo×ian,tj×ian my man ian got contradicting heart& life while jo is getting to know about his past slowly so,once tj is revealed to jo/Ian's more regrets we are in for a rollercoaster of emotions &angst!
