- how did the other countries just stay still when the guy wiped one out? they would have teamed up and kicked him in the ba***, where they all city states or something? he** just keeping an army fead is an insane task, keeping it going from country to country? what about insurections? bandits? needing to keep troopes in the new country? no? just marching from place to place? just once I would like to see the guy getting his sh** kicked in or losing the war as he could not feed his army and the others united against him

@User.1099852  Well if you took in consideration actually our world history... surprisingly there are cases it happened... but time and power difference were fundamentally being the key! Most famous Alexander the great went on campaign 10 years straight!!! Rome conquering vast land and nations each genaeration... china and india respectively... genghis Khan and his descendands... Aswell last but enorm Europe many colonies!!!
So let me be honest... I would react the same as you! But if the region itself were not stable itself (all time skirmishes)... there could be no union to begin with... secondly if the empire had overwhelming power... than surrounding countries felt despair with morale shattered army crumbling easily!!
However really the conditions to have acute economy, bureaucratic, diplomacy, political, military aswell timeline and LUCK!!! Seems negligible to seem realistic... but by DIVINE intervention OF WILL (by author) what meaning have fate... or probability??
