Juella admits that this is why she hated Camilla so much. Looking at Camilla reminded her of herself and made her feel insecure. She realizes that many of the insults and arguments she started with Camilla were actually caused by her own pain and frustration. For the first time, Juella openly talks about her feelings with Camilla. She says that she is going to pretend to be friendly because her father ordered her to stay on Camilla's good side. Camilla is surprised but, instead of getting angry, she realizes that she understands Juella's feelings. Their relationship is still awkward, but Juella seems emotionally lighter after finally talking about what was bothering her. Meanwhile, Prince Abihale receives a reply from Camilla. He initially smiles when he sees the letter, but his mood quickly changes after reading it. He becomes irritated because Camilla, who once chased after him, is now apparently rejecting or avoiding him. He feels that her attitude has changed because her social position has improved. Abihale insists that he never truly cared about her and that he only pursued her in the beginning because his mother ordered him to. Abihale had agreed to bring Camilla to their side, but he was not happy about it at first. He remembered Camilla as a gloomy and obsessive girl whom he had never been attracted to. However, the Camilla he had recently seen was very different. She had changed greatly, both in her appearance and personality. Abihale began wondering why he had disliked her so much in the past. Abihale also noticed that Edsen, reacted strongly when Camilla was mentioned. Edsen normally ignored Abihale’s actions, but this time he showed clear hostility. Abihale became curious because he realized that Camilla seemed to matter to his brother. What had started as a simple obligation was slowly becoming a genuine interest for him. The problem was that Camilla kept refusing Abihale’s letters asking to meet. Because she was protected by the powerful Duke of Sorfel, Abihale could not force her to meet him. He decided that he would have to visit her personally because having Camilla on his side would be very useful, especially because she now had the reputation and influence of a “Saintess.” Before he could do anything, however, a mysterious man wearing a gray mask suddenly appeared inside the imperial palace. Abihale immediately became suspicious because the man had managed to enter a heavily guarded place. The masked man revealed that he had been hired for a job and had come to deliver a warning. The warning was about Camilla. The masked man told Abihale to leave her alone and stop bothering her. Abihale immediately suspected that his brother had sent the man, especially after hearing that the Crown Prince cared about Camilla. However, the masked man explained that Edsen was not his client, although he admitted that the Crown Prince seemed to care about her. Then came the biggest shock the masked man revealed that he himself was the client. He was the one who had ordered the warning. He told Abihale that if he wanted to see him again, he could ignore the warning, but next time the man would remove his mask. The masked man then threatened Abihale and made it clear that he was not afraid to reveal his identity. (He was none other than Jayner 😂) Abihale was left terrified and shaken, staring at the dagger the man had driven into the wall. He realized that whoever this mysterious man was, he was extremely dangerous and that Camilla was somehow important enough to make someone threaten him over her.
✕Camilla brings a small teddy bear to the office. Chris asks why she has it, and she explains that Juella gave it to everyone at a gathering. Camilla shows him the bear, and Chris thinks it is cute. He notices that its clothes are very detailed and realizes that Juella must have spent a lot of effort making it. Later, Camilla goes to the Bakers family estate because she wants to visit Juella. She notices a crowd rushing into the estate and realizes that something is happening. When she asks about Juella, she learns that Juella is in her room, probably sewing as usual. Count Bakes is angry when he hears that Juella gave Camilla handmade dolls instead of expensive gifts. He had wanted Juella to make a good impression on Camilla because he hoped Camilla would become close to his eldest son, Mantis. He believes Juella’s childish hobby could have ruined that opportunity. However, the Count’s mood changes completely when he sees Camilla. Camilla happily tells him that she came to thank him and that she really liked the gift Juella gave her. The Count is surprised that she genuinely liked the handmade doll. He becomes very pleased and invites her to have tea with him.
I like to post spoilers for the stories I find interesting because I don't have much time to read novel due to busy schedule you will find me in most romantic historical manhwa comment sections
