Her having a lover could result into a big hit in his succession to the throne and him having a lover could result into war (her father just waits for a reason to invade, that's why he gave her some poison to start it).
Her lies already had some harmful result. She poured oil into the hatred of the 3 ladies that came with the princess and one of them snapped in the end and tried to harm her.
