No matter how much I hate that snake diona but it's a bit much to slap her and treat her like that in front of other people. Talking about it would be a better way to solve this issue.

@._.daikis._. Well, the lies she spread could potentially harm them in a big way. Her having a lover could result into a big hit in his succession to the throne and him having a lover could result into war (her father just waits for a reason to invade, that's why he gave her some poison to start it).
Her lies already had some harmful result. She poured oil into the hatred of the 3 ladies that came with the princess and one of them snapped in the end and tried to harm her. She isn't the one that tried that and that wasn't her intent, but she helped. She also just stopped development between the MCs which should result into a death sentence by default
